Send 1-to-1 SMS
You can send SMS to 1 contact at a time. You will need permission to be able to send 1-to-1 SMS.
Go to the contact profile, select the Communications tab, and then select the SMS tab.
You can click the Load SMS Template button if you have a ready template. You can also send the SMS now or schedule it at a later date and time. There is also an option to add a Follow-up Task using the toggle.
On the top bar, there is a notification icon for SMS, you'll see how many SMS messages were received. Click the SMS notification icon and then click View All, you will be directed to the Text Messages page where you can view the Inbox and Unread messages.
Send Batch SMS (multiple contacts)
You can send SMS to multiple contacts at the same time. Batch SMS allows you to choose contacts from the All Contacts group or any other group you want. You will need permission to be able to send Batch SMS.
Go to the contact group and select the contacts you want to include in the Batch SMS using the check box on the left. Use the Filters button to segment the contacts you want to send Batch SMS.
Once you have selected the contacts, the Batch button will appear, click the button and select Batch SMS.
You can click the Load SMS Template button if you have a ready template. You can also send the SMS now or schedule it at a later date and time.
The Batch Identifier is the Batch ID, please send this number to the support team if you have questions about the batch.
The Summary is a visual summary of contacts included in the Batch.
Important Note:
As an Owner, you can select what number you want to send the SMS from, either the location number or another staff member number (Additional Numbers). The idea of this is that if a staff member is on vacation or is not in for the day and there are some texts they have to reply to, the Owner can send them for them.
