There are numerous reasons why memberships are temporarily suspended. It can be due to medical reasons, travel schedules, or personal preferences. In order for fitness facility owners to further dig into the underlying grounds of such issues and determine how to turn that specific root cause into an opportunity to convert these memberships to go active again, it is essential to regularly monitor and check memberships that are currently frozen or paused.
To know more about the difference between paused memberships and frozen memberships, you may check out the documentation through this link.
To help you with monitoring, we have made helpful updates that will segregate properly paused and frozen memberships on the Paused/Frozen Memberships Report. To access the report, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: On the left menu, select the Membership Billing tab, then Reports.
Step 2: On Paused/Frozen Memberships, click the View Report button.
The system will now show you three tabs: Current, Schedule, and History. From here, you will see the updates we made to the system by clicking on the respective tabs.
Current Tab
This tab will show you all the paused and frozen memberships at the moment.
Schedule Tab
This tab will show you all the paused and frozen memberships that are scheduled to be paused or frozen in the future.
History Tab
This tab will show you the history of the memberships that were previously paused or frozen.
Aside from the three new tabs, a new column for Start Date has also been added. This is applied to all three tabs as well.
Additionally, when viewing the memberships under the Current and Schedule Tab, you can filter the memberships by:
Command type
a. Pause
b. FreezeMembership type
a. Members
b. Paid in Full
c. Trial
d. Challenge
e. Add-on (Services)
With the History Tab, aside from the same filters as the ones with the Current and Schedule Tab, a filter to select a date range is also available.
Through this update, there will be no need to cross-reference reports using separate reports with different date ranges since the system can now show the memberships that are currently paused and frozen, and the memberships that are scheduled for a future date.
