Efficient billing management is crucial to ensure a seamless experience for both customers and businesses. One integral aspect of this process is handling scheduled single payment memberships, particularly when payments are set for the future.

This automation serves as a safeguard against potential payment failures, ensuring that customers' subscriptions are not disrupted due to payment issues.

When a payment date for a single payment subscription is set for the future and the time comes to process the invoice, the system kicks into action. It first checks if the payment was successful. If the payment fails, the automation is triggered.

Here's how it works:

  1. Automated Payment Processing: On a daily basis, the system processes scheduled invoices for customers. It detects if any of these invoices belong to a single payment subscription.

  2. Payment Failure Detection: If a payment for a single payment subscription fails, the system is triggered to activate the automation process.

  3. Automation Activation: Once triggered, the automation process will be initiated ensuring that the necessary actions are taken to rectify the situation. This includes addi contact to campaign, move contact to group, assign tag to a contact or assign contact to a staff.

Here's the process for configuring the automation:

Step 1: On the left menu, select the Automation tab and then click on Automation Management.

Step 2: Clink New Automation button.

Step 3: Type in the name of automation.

Step 4: For the source select Fit Pro Tracker.

Step 5: On the next tab select Payments.

Step 6: On the trigger option select Declined Scheduled Single Payment Membership.

Step 7: Click the Add Action button

Step 8: Select the action you want from the drop down menu.

Step 9: And finally, click the save icon to save the action and then click the Save Automation button.
