What Is A2P 10DLC and Why Is It Required?
A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person 10-Digit Long Code) is a U.S. carrier system that allows businesses to send SMS messages using standard 10-digit phone numbers while complying with carrier regulations. This registration verifies your business and messaging purpose, helping carriers prevent spam and fraudulent messages.
It is required by phone carriers, and SMS messages cannot be sent until the registration is approved. Completing A2P 10DLC registration is important because it ensures reliable message delivery, reduces the risk of messages being blocked or filtered, and maintains trust with customers.
Accessing the A2P 10DLC Section in Fit Pro Tracker
Navigate to the Location tab in the Left-hand Menu, then Settings, and next click on Numbers.
Click the Submit Registration Form button to start the process.
You will be taken to a Digital Document, where you can complete the required steps for your Brand Registration. This step verifies that your business is legitimate and is required before you can proceed to messaging.
