We’re introducing an important improvement for clients to receive complete membership details when signing up.

If you have the “Send email for new memberships” setting enabled, every new membership will automatically trigger a confirmation email containing clear and comprehensive agreement information.

What’s Included in the New Membership Email?

The updated membership email now provides a more detailed and professional format, replacing the older, limited version. Each email will include:

  • Membership name and type

  • Payment details (amount, frequency, taxes, fees, discounts)

  • Initial term and total payments

  • Agreement start and end dates

  • Auto-renewal details (if applicable)

  • Payment notes and contact information

⚠️ Important Note


The Location Name, which represents your business’s legal name and DBA name, will now be included in the new membership email sent to clients. Please note that the Location Name refers to your Business Legal Name. This update ensures that clients receive accurate business information, helping to build trust and maintain professionalism in your communications.


Scenarios & What Clients Will See

Below are the different membership types and how they will appear in the confirmation email:

A. Single Payments

  1. With Taxes

    • Immediate Charge: A1.1 — Tax applied, payment processed right away.

    • Scheduled Payment: A1.2 — Immediate start, payment date scheduled.

    • Future Start + Immediate Charge: A1.3 — Future start date, payment processed immediately.

  2. With Discounts

    • Immediate Charge: A2.1 — Discount applied, payment processed right away. The discounted amount will be reflected in the membership agreement overview.

    • Scheduled Payment: A2.2 — Immediate start, payment scheduled for a future date. The discounted amount will be reflected in the membership agreement overview.

    • Future Start + Immediate Charge: A2.3 — Future start date, payment processed immediately. The discounted amount will be reflected in the membership agreement overview.

  3. With Fees

    • Immediate Charge: A3.1 — Sign-up fee applied, payment processed immediately.

    • Scheduled Payment: A3.2 — Immediate start, payment scheduled for a future date.

    • Future Start + Immediate Charge: A3.3 — Future start date, payment processed immediately.

  4. Regular Membership (No Taxes, Fees, Discounts)

    • Immediate Start + Charge: A4.1 — Starts and charges right away

    • Scheduled Start + Charge: A4.2 — Starts and charges on future date


B. Recurring Memberships

  1. With Taxes

    • Immediate Start: B1.1 — Fixed number of installments, tax applied, starts right away.

    • Scheduled Start + Prorate: B1.2 — Fixed number of installments, Future start date with prorated amount.

  2. With Discounts

    • Immediate Start: B2.1 — Auto-renew enabled, Discount applied, starts immediately. The discounted amount will be reflected in the membership agreement overview.

    • Scheduled Start: B2.2 — Auto-renew enabled, Discount applied, starts on a future date. The discounted amount will be reflected in the membership agreement overview.

  3. With Fees

    • Immediate Start: B3.1 — Fixed number of installments, Sign-up and/or jump-start fees apply, starting immediately.

    • Scheduled Start: B3.2 — Fixed number of installments, Fees applied, starts on a future date.

  4. Regular Membership (No Taxes, Fees, Discounts)

    • Immediate Start: B4.1 — Auto-renewal enabled, starts right away.

    • Scheduled Start: B4.2 — Autorenew enabled, starts on a future date.

Pro tip: If you add a prorated charge, even if you scheduled the start date of the recurring membership, the system will have the status as active as soon as you are done adding the subscription.
