Here's how this automation process works:

  • The system performs a daily check, scanning through credit card payments associated with active recurring memberships.

  • For each identified credit card, the system calculates the number of days remaining until the card's expiration date.

  • The automation programmed to recognize specific trigger points in terms of the remaining days until card expiry. These trigger points are set at 90, 30, 14, and 5 days before expiration.

  • Once the automation is activated, appropriate action will be taken when a credit card is about to expire.

Here's how to set up this automation:

Step 1) On the left menu, select the Automation tab and then click on Automation Management.

Step 2) Click the New Automation button.

Step 3) Choose the Fit Pro Tracker as the source option. Move to the following tab and opt for Payment Option. For the trigger selection, pick the expiring Credit Card assigned to the membership is expiring. Finally, click on the button labeled Add Action.

Step 4) Choose your desired action from the dropdown menu. Click the blue save icon and then click the Save Automation button.
