Effective internal communication systems are crucial for all fitness facilities. This holds true due to the numerous client transactions one location monitors and where coordination and prompt response are essential for smooth operations.

For staff members to better keep track of the notifications they can receive, we have updated the Fit Pro Tracker system to create a Notification Center, which serves as a centralized hub for all the settings relating to notifications you can or cannot receive.

Before this update, you can access your notification settings and set them up through these two (2) options:

Option 1: Go to your profile and click the Notification tab.

Option 2: On the left menu, go to Locations and then Settings. Under Settings, click the Notifications tab.

In this documentation, we will be discussing the newest feature infused into the system called the Notification Center and its new functionalities.

To access this newest feature in the Fit Pro Tracker system, kindly refer to the steps below:

On the left menu, select the Location tab and then click Notification Center.

Here you can see two (2) tabs: System Notifications and My Notifications.

A. System Notifications

In the System Notifications, you can see all the following notification settings that are turned on or off by your location’s owners and managers:

  • Inbound Email - can be notified through Email, SMS, and/or Mobile Push

  • Inbound SMS - can be notified through Email, SMS, and/or Mobile Push

  • Submitted Forms - can be notified through Email and/or SMS

  • Submitted Digital Documents - can be notified through Email only

  • Checkout - can be notified through Email only

  • Call - can be notified through Email and/or SMS

  • New Leads - can be notified through Email only

Note: Staff members cannot change any of the settings here, since only owners and managers have the access to do such actions.

B. My Notifications

In the My Notifications tab, you can see all the following notification settings that were previously present on your user profile:

  • Inbound Email - can be notified through Email, SMS, and/or Mobile Push

  • Inbound SMS - can be notified through Email, SMS, and/or Mobile Push

  • Submitted Forms - can be notified through Email and/or SMS

  • Submitted Digital Documents - can be notified through Email only

  • Checkout - can be notified through Email only

  • Call - can be notified through Email and/or SMS

  • Assigned Contact - can be notified through Email and/or SMS

  • Direct Message - can be notified through Mobile Push only

Pro Tip #1: Only owners and managers can select which staff member will receive specific notifications either by selecting your names individually or by creating a group and adding selected staff members. You can check the groups you are included by clicking the View My Groups button in the My Notifications tab.

Pro Tip #2: All notification settings, wherein the Customize toggle is turned on in the System Notifications tab, will override the notification settings in the My Notification tab. A note saying, “Overridden by System Notifications” will be displayed in the specific setting in the My Notifications tab. Likewise, if the Customize toggle is not on, staff members can change the notification settings in the My Notifications tab.

It is very important to note how crucial this Notification Center is for all staff members working in a fitness facility, as it allows for effective internal information exchange and real-time teamwork to guarantee seamless operations and top-notch customer service delivery.
