Before you can take payments from clients, you will first need to apply for a Merchant Id with our payment processor. Once approved by our partner Zift underwriting team, you will then be given your Merchant Id and Account Id.

We make the process easy by allowing you to fill out the initial data needed to submit to the underwriting team. Once you have successfully submitted your information, the underwriting team reviews it and if needed asks for additional information. This will come from them directly.

Once they have approved your application, they will notify Fit Pro Tracker. At this time we will update your account and notify you. Once this process is complete, you will be able to create your customers and add in payment methods to start charging your clients.

Who needs to sign the application?

Anyone with 25% or more ownership in the business.

Who needs to complete the identity verification process?

Anyone with 25% or more ownership in the business.

You can see the step by step Merchant Application process below:

In the left side menu, click on Location to expand the menu items. Click on Assets.

Next Click Billing and then My Clients Billing. Click the Start Application Button. (Note: If the My Clients Billing does not show available, please contact support to ensure you are set up on the correct Fit Pro Tracker plan).

There are three sections that you need to fill out: Business Information, Beneficial Ownership, and Banking Information.

  • The first part of the application is your Business Information, this refers to your business details and location information. In order to prevent delays in activating your account you need to fill out the information in this section as accurately as possible.

  • The second section is Beneficial Ownership. To obtain and verify information about the beneficial owners of your business is required by the Federal regulation. In order for FPT to comply with this, you need to provide us with the most correct and up to date information as possible. Insufficient and inaccurate information may lead to the delay of the activation of your account.

    A beneficial owner is:

    1. Anyone who owns directly or indirectly, 25 percent or more of the equity interests of your business and;

    2. An individual with significant responsibility for managing the legal entity (this could be one of the owner(s) from above).

You may add 1 up to 4 people who owns 25% or more of the equity interests of your business but you only need to fill out the information of one owner:

You also need to fill in information for an Individual with Significant Control:

  • The third section is Banking Information, this is the part where you enter your Bank Details:

After successfully submitting your application

Once submitted, the Zift underwriting team will take the information submitted and coordinate any further information needed through an email exchange with them. You will receive an email from our Merchant Services Coordinator thanking you and what the next steps are.

What To Expect Next

  • Please watch for an email from our merchant services partner, Zift, to digitally sign the merchant application you have submitted to us. You will have a chance to review the information and make any changes as necessary.

  • Please complete the Zift identity verification process. It takes about 30 seconds. Please have anyone with 25% or more ownership in your company complete the identity verification process.

  • Once we receive this information we will finalize the underwriting of your account and activate it for merchant services on the Fit Pro Tracker platform.
