You can remove Tags individually by going to the contact profile. Select the Contact Info tab, on the left side you'll see the Tags, click the x mark on the Tags to delete it.

To Bulk remove a tag you can select the contacts you want to remove from the tag and select the "Batch" option, then click the Batch Remove tag option; then, choose the tag you want to remove.

You can remove Tags on multiple contacts by going to the All Contacts group. And then select the contacts you want to remove and then click the Batch button. Select Batch Remove Tags from the options and then select the tags you want to remove.
