💰 Gross Revenue Report Enhancement

The Gross Revenue Report has been updated with a fresh look and improved functionality to help you analyze your revenue more efficiently. With the updated layout, you can now easily track your total revenue, refunds, system credits, and taxes within any selected date range. You also have the option to download the data as an Excel file for deeper analysis.

WHAT'S NEW?

📆 Default Display


The report now automatically shows data from the last 4 weeks, and you can adjust the range to view up to 52 weeks of information.

Using the Date Filter:

  1. Click the date range field.

  2. Select your preferred start and end dates.

  3. The report will automatically refresh and display the data for the selected period.


📊 Revenue Breakdown

The report provides a clear breakdown of your revenue sources and adjustments:

Total Revenue

  • Displays your overall earnings during the selected period.

    Billing Revenue - Includes payments, cash, and credits processed through the billing system.

    POS Revenue - Displays all earnings from point-of-sale (POS) transactions.

Refunds and System Credits

  • Shows the total deductions from your revenue, including:

    • Billing Refunds – Returned payments processed through billing.

    • System Credits – Adjustments such as cancellation credits or manual system credits.

    • POS Refunds – Returns processed through the POS system.

Gross Revenue

  • Automatically calculated as:
    Total Revenue – Refunds and System Credits

Taxes

  • Displays the total amount of tax collected within the selected date range.


⚙️ New Version Updates

The updated report includes enhanced usability features:

Generate Report

  • Click “Generate Report” to process the latest data.

  • While the report is being prepared, you’ll see a “We are generating your report” message.

    ⚠️ Note: During the report generation process, the Generate Report button will be temporarily unavailable.

  • Once completed, the Download option becomes available.


📂 Excel Export Details

When you export the report, the Excel file now contains three tabs for a more organized view:

  1. Summary

    • Displays an overview of total revenue, refunds, gross revenue, and taxes.

  2. Billing Revenue Details

    • Provides transaction-level details, including who made the payment and what it was for.

  3. POS Revenue Details

    • Lists all transactions processed through your POS system.


This enhancement offers a more streamlined and insightful experience when reviewing your revenue, making it easier to track performance and financial trends over time.
