This guide will walk you through setting up a Google Form as the trigger source and configuring the integration to add new leads into Fit Pro Tracker. Follow each step to test and set up the integration.

Step 1: Choose the Trigger Setup in Zapier

  1. Search for Google Forms: Log in to your Zapier account and create a new Zap. In the Trigger App search bar, type “Google Forms” and select it.

  2. Trigger Event Selection: In the right sidebar, under Trigger Event, choose "New Form Response." This event will initiate the zap every time a new form response is submitted.

  3. Google Account Login: In the Account section, log in to your Google account, if not already connected.

  4. Form Selection: Choose the form where you want to pull in responses.

    • Important Note: To view a form in this list, you must be the form's owner.

  3. Account Login: Log into Fit Pro Tracker to retrieve your API key:

    • Go to Zapier Integration in Fit Pro Tracker Integrations Menu.

    • Copy the API Key and paste it into Zapier for authentication.

  4. Configure Field Mapping: Now, you'll map fields from Google Forms to Fit Pro Tracker fields.

    • For example, map the First Name field in Google Forms to the First Name field in Fit Pro Tracker.

    • Go through each field carefully to ensure all essential information is transferred accurately.

Step 3: Configure the Journey Setup

  1. Journey Selection: If you don't see any journeys available, navigate to Journeys in Fit Pro Tracker and create a new one:

    • When setting up a journey, select the Zapier radio button option. This enables only workflow items relevant to new leads generated via Zapier.

    • Important note: Make sure to put a description of the journey otherwise it won’t show in the dropdown in Zapier.

  2. Refresh Your Journey List: After setting up a journey in Fit Pro Tracker, you can refresh the list in Zapier to ensure the new journey appears as an option.

Step 4: Test and Finalize the Zap

  1. Test the Zap: Click the Test Action button in Zapier to verify the setup. This will push a test lead from Google Forms into Fit Pro Tracker to ensure the integration works correctly.

  2. Name and Publish: Once testing is successful, give your zap a name (e.g., “Google Forms to Fit Pro Tracker Lead Integration”) and click Publish.

Your Zapier integration is now set up! Each time a new response is submitted in Google Forms, a new lead will automatically be created in Fit Pro Tracker based on your configured mappings.
