We’re excited to announce a game-changing update to the booking app, designed to help clients stay on top of their schedules like never before. The new Push Notification feature ensures that sessions are never missed and that everything remains organized.
Fit Pro Tracker understands the value of time. Whether managing multiple sessions or simply needing a helpful reminder, the new notification system covers all bases. Imagine timely alerts that help clients prepare for their workouts—this update makes that possible.
How to Set Up Notifications:
The Notifications Menu consists of two tabs: Notifications and Settings.
Notifications Tab: Displays all notifications that have not been opened. You will also be able to filter the list by notification type.
Settings Tab: Here, users can manage their push notifications through two options:
Notification Types
Users can choose to enable or disable individual notifications:
Session Reminders – Receive a notification 1 hour before a session starts. Tapping it marks it as read and removes it from the list.
Past Due Alerts – Get alerts for outstanding payments. These are sent at 6 PM local time, after the reconciliation process is complete. Tapping the notification opens the Past Due Invoices screen.
Waitlist Updates – Be notified when a spot becomes available. Tapping the notification opens the Session Details screen.
Important: By default, the notification settings are disabled. Make sure to inform your clients that they will need to enable notifications in the app as well as push notifications on their devices for this feature to work.
Once "Save" is clicked, the selected settings are applied, and a confirmation message will appear to confirm the changes.
Additionally, when the app is open, a pop-up message will alert you an hour before a session starts, keeping you on track.
Also, a Delete Account option has been introduced to simplify account management.
How to access it:
Navigate to the Profile tab via the Left Menu.
Scroll down to find the Delete Account option.
Important: If account deletion is requested, clients need to inform the location/gym as well, since an automatic notification is only sent to staff assigned to the contact. An entry is added to the client's Activity Feed if they request to delete their account.
Notification will only be sent every time someone clicks on request cancellation if the contact is assigned to a staff member.
If the staff email is valid, the system will send them an email.
If the staff phone number is valid, the system will send them an SMS.
The Delete Button tab allows users to request the deletion of their booking app access. Once you’ve verified all necessary details, please reach out to Support to complete the request.
