Gym owners across industries are constantly looking for ways to improve their services and enhance the overall customer experience. One way to achieve this is through Session Automation, a process that can manage the interactions with clients and ensure their needs are met efficiently. This article focuses on Session Automation initiated before a customer reaches a milestone.

When does the system activate the Session Automation?

It is triggered when a client register for a session with the "attended" status. The activation of this automation depends on a specific condition: the client's progress towards a predefined milestone.

Milestones are significant markers in a client's fitness journey. These milestones are often associated with a certain number of sessions that the client needs to complete. For instance, milestones may be set at 25, 50 and 100 sessions completed,

The automation is activated when the system detects that the client is approaching one of these milestones. In the scenario you've mentioned, the system checks how many sessions the client is missing to reach a milestone when they register for a session with the "attended" status. If the client is within 1, 10, or 15 sessions of reaching the milestone, the automation is initiated.

How Does Session Automation Work?

The session automation process is designed to improve customer engagement, encourage loyalty, and ensure clients achieve their fitness goals. Here's how it typically works:

1) Data Validation: When a client registers for a session, the system first validates their status and session history. It checks whether the session is marked as "attended."

2) Milestone Check: The system then assesses the client's progress towards their next milestone. This involves counting the number of sessions they've completed and comparing it to the sessions required to reach the milestone.

3) Automation Activation: If the client is within 1, 10, or 15 sessions of reaching the milestone, the automation is activated.

Here's how to set up this automation:

Step 1) On the left menu, select the Automation tab and then click on Automation Management. Click the New Automation button.

Step 2) Choose the Fit Pro Tracker as the source option. Move to the following tab and opt for Milestone. For the trigger selection, choose the option Before a customer reaches a milestone (1,10 or 15 sessions).

Step 3) Click on the button Add Action and then choose your desired action from the dropdown menu.

Step 4) Click the blue save icon and then click the Save Automation button.

Implementing session automation has several advantages for businesses:

  1. Enhanced Customer Experience: Clients feel valued and supported on their journey, leading to higher satisfaction.

  2. Increased Retention: By helping clients reach milestones, gyms can reduce churn and retain customers for longer periods.

  3. Efficiency: Automation streamlines the process of tracking client progress and delivering timely messages, saving time and resources. ** specific action

The Session Automation before a customer reaches a milestone is a powerful tool for improving customer experience. By activating this automation when clients register for sessions and are close to important milestones, your gym can foster engagement, build loyalty, and ultimately drive success for both you and your clients.
