Contacts can choose to opt out of receiving SMS messages from their location at any time. If a contact unsubscribes from the SMS list of a location, the SMS button in their profile turns red, and they are effectively unsubscribed from all numbers.

When contacts unsubscribe from the location's number, their profile will show a notification stating that locations are unable to send SMS for the following reasons, as shown in the screenshot below.

However, they have the option to opt back in or re-subscribe to SMS if they change their mind. Contacts can use these Opt-in words: START, YES, or UNSTOP, so they can start receiving SMS messages again from the location.

The contact must text START, YES, or UNSTOP to the same phone number to which the STOP keyword was sent if they want to re-subscribe.

Important Note: If your location has multiple phone numbers, it is crucial to inform your clients to send the word START to the same number they sent the word STOP. By doing this, you can make sure the client receives every SMS you send.
