You may notice a message that comes up on some of your member subscriptions. The message reads “This subscription requires your attention, please contact support if needed.” In addition, a new warning icon appears next to the modified invoice.

We have discovered that in the process of modifying a single invoice there is something happening on the processor side that causes the entire subscription to be modified when editing a single invoice. We have a ticket open with the processor and are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Since we are now aware of the issue and are able to pull the logic that determines when this happens, we are being proactive and are now flagging these accounts with the above-listed warnings.

If you receive a warning:

Please contact support. Once contacted they will clear the warning from the account and enable your modify subscription button, so you can modify the entire subscription back to the correct payment amount using the modify button on the subscription invoice page.

How you can avoid these warnings:

You may process a credit to the client account that you are wanting to modify the invoice on. That way when the scheduled invoice is processed it will use the credit amount rather than charging the client.

Using the credit feature is the best way to ensure that future invoices are not impacted.

***Please note*** This only impacts single invoice modifications and not the Modify button to change the subscription itself.
